Growing up in the small town of Kenly, NC, Dr. Godwin has a love and appreciation for the people and culture of North Carolina. He completed his undergraduate degree at East Carolina University, majoring in Biochemistry and graduating with honors. Afterwards, he attended dental school at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Godwin went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at East Carolina University as well, completing the program with Distinction honors.
Dr. Godwin enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible, whether hiking, kayaking, or exploring a new place. Despite his lean stature, he is a keen foodie and enjoys cooking and exploring all the great food the Charlotte area has to offer.
